Heidi Klum stunned the Met Gala red carpet after arriving dressed as a living sculpture inspired by the “Veiled Vestal” by Raffaele Monti.
Heidi Klum had an unforgettable entrance on the Met Gala red carpet.
During interviews at the event, Klum described the inspiration behind the dramatic appearance with the phrase:
“Fashion is art, art is fashion.”
Klum arrived dressed as a living sculpture inspired by the famous “Veiled Vestal” created by Italian sculptor Raffaele Monti.
She looked as if she was carved from marble.
“I was inspired by the Veiled Vestal.”
The custom prosthetic design reportedly took four and a half hours to complete.
And just getting to the Gala was a challenge.
But in true Heidi Klum fashion, the dramatic appearance instantly became one of the night’s biggest standout moments.
